By the afternoon, the FAA action led to 41 flights being canceled and 259 flights delayed at BWI-Marshall. The FAA ground stop lifted before 9 a.m., but the damage had been done. Anisha Danielson's flight to Raleigh, North Carolina, had been canceled, keeping her from seeing her beloved clients that day.
"I'm devastated," said Anisha. "I wish they'd let people know ahead of time, so we can make other arrangements. It's a huge inconvenience to the traveler, and it's expensive."
